1) The Beginning
Like the name suggest, this is the entrance or start of Legoland Malaysia. Here, you can find locker rooms, ATM machines, strollers for rent, shops and a smoking section. You can also find the Big Shop, where they sell some of the largest collection of Lego toys in Asia.

In this section of Legoland Malaysia, you can find Malaysian, Singapore and many Asian countries’ landmarks constructed using Lego blocks. Other countries also include China, India, Vietnam and many other Asian countries. Apart from the grand views of Lego blocks, it is also a fun way to educate your kids about Asian countries and how the popular landmarks look like.
3) Lego City
At Lego City, you will get to drive a car, boat, plane and also a train. The Lego City stage is also here, where you can catch a play. There are show timings for the performances, so do check the show times. Also, depending on the crowd at Legoland Malaysia on your day of visit, you might need to station yourself towards the front in order to be able watch the play.
4) Land of Adventure
This is where you really get adventurous. Games here include “firing” at different objects to protect the ancient treasure. There are also a Dina Island ride, and you are expected to get wet. So bring along extra clothing.
5) Lego Technic
Aquazone is located here. You will have to dodge water shots and navigate sharp turns. Also expect to get wet on the rides. There is also Lego mindstorms, where you can construct and program your own Lego robots.
This is where you find the old school original fun in Lego; a place you gather your family together and construct using Lego bricks. There is also an earthquake table to test the strength of the Lego block you constructed.
7) Lego kingdoms
It houses the highest roller coaster rides in Legoland Malaysia. As this is the most popular ride in Legoland, expect long waiting times before you can get onto the ride.

There are several ways you can reach Legoland Malaysia from Singapore. The fastest route is via the Tuas Checkpoint. Driving to Legoland Malaysia from Singapore only takes about 15 minutes after the checkpoint at Tuas. Alternatively, you can also take a bus trip from several providers in Singapore.
Tips on going to Legoland Malaysia
1) Hydrate and moisturise yourself.
Be prepared to experience hot temperatures over at Legoland Malaysia. Bring water, moisturise yourself and your kids regularly. If need be, bring an umbrella. You have been warned.
2) Bring food.
In between rides, the wait can be very long. Bring along some snacks or food in case you get hungry. There are only 2 places within Legoland that you can take full meals; Imagination and Lego City.
3) Take a coach there instead of driving.
Taking a coach there is no doubt less convenient, but you do not have to worry about parking fees and your car. In this robbery case, a Singaporean left her bag in her car and she got her car windows smashed and bag stolen due to theft. All this in spite of the fact that they have security guards around. If you must drive, do not leave your bags in your car.
4) Go on a weekday
During the weekends, Legoland Malaysia is very crowded. You are comparing a crowd of 6,500 on a weekday versus 19,000 on a weekend.
5) Plan your activities
Legoland has over 40 rides and with the crowd, it is almost impossible to take on every ride and visit every attraction. Have a look at what interests you or your family the most and plan accordingly.
